What Support will I receive?

We aim to support individuals who are finding it difficult in gaining employment through the traditional routes.

We will support you in building your confidence, overcoming barriers to work, increasing your self esteem and general wellbeing.

You will receive support throughout your journey including:

  • An Employment Support Officer allocated to you.
  • A guided tour of your chosen department to help you choose a job role that is right for you.
  • Interview Techniques - Training and Support in attending your placement interview.
  • A mentor to train and support you in all aspects of your role.
  • Training courses, usually only available to NELCTP staff.
  • Monthly reviews to assess your individual needs and successes.
  • Help with your job search in completing application forms and CV building.
  • NVQ II in your chosen occupational area, such as Business Administration, Health & Social Care, Catering, and Domestic.
