World Class Commissioning Assurance

Support for the Delivery of World Class Commissioning Assurance

Expressions of interest are requested to support North East Lincolnshire Care Trust Plus (CTP) in its preparations for the World Class Commissioning (WCC) Assurance process.

The provider would be required to:

  • Facilitate a self assessment of the organisation against the eleven commissioning competencies
  • Analyse the results of the assessment process and prepare a development plan including:
    • Identify where the gaps are
    • Establish the underlying causes of those gaps
    • Identify what actions are required to address the gaps
  • Through the assessment and action planning process, work alongside CTP leads to embed an understanding of WCC across the organisation.

This will enable the CTP to establish the immediate priorities that can be addressed ahead of the assurance process later in the year. This will help the organisation to place itself in the best possible position to maximise its performance in the assurance process. Any potential provider would be required to deliver in line with the timeline for WCC assurance which would require the organisation to achieve a state of readiness for assessment by the end of October 2008.

Delivery by the provider will be monitored against the following outcomes:

  • Completed self assessment process
  • Identification of gaps/priority areas to be addressed
  • Development of action plan to address gaps/priorities
  • Evidence of awareness of WCC including activities undertaken to raise awareness
