Electronic guide to local health and adult social care services 2011

North East Lincolnshire Care Trust Plus has released an indispensible guide to local NHS and adult social care services.

Your Guide 2011 is comprehensive source of information regarding local health and social care services. It includes useful telephone numbers including emergency contact numbers, details of how to access services and lists of nursing/residential homes. Among other information, the guide also includes details of GPs, dentists and pharmacies sorted by postcode areas.

Dr Peter Melton, interim chief executive of the Care Trust Plus, said: “In order for people to make the most of local services they first need to know what services are available to them. Your Guide 2011 has been designed to give this information in a user-friendly way. This guide will help you choose the right health and adult social care services for you and your family.”

The CTP aims to provide residents with information on all the services available in the area to enable them to choose the most appropriate service to use depending on their needs.

By encouraging people to give thought to where they access treatment not only helps to ensure they are seen as quickly as possible, but also frees up emergency services for those people who really need them.

By following the advice set out within Your Guide, people can make sure they are accessing the right services to give them the best possible treatment.

The electronic guide is available to download from the Care Trust Plus website at www.nelctp.nhs.uk
