18.02.08 – Update. Thankyou to all the Providers for returning their applications. We are currently going through each one and will contact you individually throughout the process. We hope to have completed the initial assessments by the end of February 08. We are still aiming to have the list complete early April 08.

Once again thank you in your interest in working with North East Lincolnshire Care Trust Plus.

North East Lincolnshire Care Trust Plus was formed on the 1st September 2007. We are reviewing the way support is offered to people with Learning Disabilities. With this in mind we are developing a standing list of Providers that will work with us in delivering service and support to service users in the following areas: care and support at home, day opportunities (day care), residential and nursing care, respite and short breaks. 

The Standing List will be an approved list of registered and inspected care providers from which we are able to procure services to meet service users' individual care and support needs as required.

Specific support will be developed not only for people with learning disabilities but also people with learning disability and mental health, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Complex Needs and services for younger adults

Applicants are required to complete a standing list application form, which enables the trust to evaluate the following:

• Evidence of technical ability
• Capacity to do the work
• Financial standing
• Insurances and references
• Compliance with legislation e.g. health & safety

Establishing an “Approved List” of organisations who wish to provide any or all of these services will minimise administration for you as you will only need to apply once.  It will also speed up delivery of individual schemes as there will be no pre qualification stage, enabling us to respond quickly to individual demand.
