The CTP Board have agreed in establishing arrangements to support the separation of the commissioning and providing functions following national guidance for Transforming Community Services.  The Board agreed for Hope Street based in Liverpool to provide dedicated consultancy to formalise the preferred organisational form for mental health services and work is well underway. 

For Community Services it is intended that they continue to remain a part of a "arms length approach" within the Care Trust Plus, recognising that over the coming months as the Strategy for Community Services unfold we will be exploring different organisational forms to meet national guidance.  A workforce strategy event for community services is being convened on 3rd October.  Information on this event will be circulated to staff shortly.
