The Care Trust Plus is committed to working hard to improve lives and the experience of care you receive.
You can have a direct say and influence the development of Transforming Care by getting involved in the Experts by Experience Advisory Group.
The Experts by Experience are a friendly group of local people with different health and social care needs and backgrounds, who are using the Care Trust Plus adult services. We also welcome carers.
Members of the group meet every 5 weeks at a venue in Grimsby and work with the Care Trust Plus, by providing their viewsand ideas about how we can best develop services to meet the needs of the local community.
The needs, opinions and concers which are raised by the Experts by Experience are vital to our work in Transforming Care. We act on their advice and suggestions about how to develop our areas of project work and members often get involved in developing, testing and giving feedback in what we are doing.
The Experts would like more local people to contribute to the group. You do not have to give up much time and you can contribute as little or as much as you wish. Its also a great way to learn more about Transforming care and meet others with different experiences.
